Work... jeez.. yesterday was torture. i had to photocopy all these documents i needed for my project. i was standing at the freakin copier for 2.5hrs! anyways... copying is done... now i need to sort thru the numbers... oh joy.
Small Group... so we had a potluck last night.. and wow. can anyone say, meat-fest? it was awesome! haha... so here's a small list of what we had: 'cha-dul-bae-gee', 'sahm-gyub-ssal', kimchi-boochim, donkatsu, jahp-chae, bin-dae-dduk, gom-ttang, and i can't even remember the rest...
so i ended up making dessert. now i'm not usually big on making desserts, just b/c i'm not a big fan of sweets, but i was really inspired to make this dish by kqed. =P
so it's baked pears with grapes with a white reisling (dessert wine), sugar, and honey glaze. does that sound good to u? it came out pretty good and ppl seemed to enjoy it. i brough a pear back to my mom at night.. and she seriously gobbled up the whole thing.. haha.. i was so happy she finished it all... i think she's the biggest fan of my cooking. anyways... so after the potluck was pretty much over... one of the brothers came up to me and was like...
him: "Hey, has anyone ever called u metrosexual?
me: "uhh... nope."
him: "well let me be the first to tell you that you are!"
me: "oh... ok. i'll take that as a compliment... thanks... haha"
