Friday.. the Christmas party at Grace's place was awesome. i haven't had that much fun in a while. Pork loin was great. Ping-pong was too much fun. Dude, Gina got stankin skinny man! Balderdash... that game was crazy crazy. it's a boardgame.. and basically, u get a card with 5 different topics on it. You roll the die to see which topic u do. it can be a date, name of a movie, and other things like that... and the other ppl have to write down on a piece of paper what they think that date is (including urself w/the correct answer)... and then all the answered are read aloud (incl. the correct one).. and ppl have to choose which one they think is the right one. man.. if u guys haven't played before... it's so fun. i can't believe i actually thought about buying the game and keeping it in my car. good thing to have around ya know? haha...
Saturday... Spent the day chillin at home, then met up w/Sung and Brian to go to the TKD party. it was... interesting... Sung's soon to be new roomie is a fob that's studying english right now... and man.. i don't know if he had too many drinks or what... but he was bugging the heck out of me and brian. for instance... "both of u need a korean girl. i'll hook u up. do u know what a stewardess is? i know soooo many of them in korea. i'll find you a nice, sexy, korean girl"... that's great and all... but after the first time... it gets kinda old. but what was cool was that somehow, we ended up talking about God. He was asking about what God was? and Sung came in.. and was like... "u know.. i studied the bible... just a little... and it's probably not enough, but i looked into it (he's a buddhist)... and i had some questions... and Sam tried to answer them for me as best he could... and i shared my stuff to Sam..." and basically he ended w/saying something like... he's the most open-minded Christian i know. i took that as a real blessing. That God really really worked in the relationship with my non-Christian brother over these past few years, and i know that He'll continue to work.
Sorry if ur reading this Pia... but freakin jeff was being sooo annoying. i was trying to tell Brian about my dream on two different occaisions... and he comes up... and asks if we're having a heart to heart in a joking way... and yea... we were... and then he just stands there... ok... u can go now! jeez... =P
Sunday... so after church, the CM staff went to the mall to grab gifts for Pastor John, Mrs. Han, and Mrs. Lee. We ended up getting PJ an indoor grill. when i saw it... man.. i knew that was the thing to buy. so fast forward a few hours. we went to danville where mrs. han lived... they were throwing a christmas party for all the teachers... youth, children's, & awana. so after we presented the gift to PJ... he opened it up... and was like, "Praise God... ANOTHER indoor grill! now i can do chicken on one, pork on one, and beef on this one! man... the CM staff felt soooo stupid. one girl even cried.. haha... but yea... we were pretty dissapointed. oh well... that's the way it goes. ok.. so going onto food... there was sooo much food. nothing ran out and there were about 25 ppl there. yea crazy eh? i had two full plates... and i don't think i should do that anymore. i shouldn't eat till i'm stuffed. i'm getting too old for that. haha...
well... it's another week. i want more sleep.
