whuddup everyone... i receieved a letter last night from Santa Clara PD. They want me to schedule appointments to take my Psychological and Polygraph testing. Thank you Lord. i feel like i've been waiting so long, but it's awesome to know that i'm moving along in the process. i'll fill u guys in on how it goes later.
small group, we broke up into mini-groups... like 3-4ppl per group. and man... we just had a really great time in sharing... why? haha... this one person who will remain anonymous bought a book called, "the difference between nice guys and players". so one key thing that he learned and that i kinda learned is that the girl chooses you. then it's the guys responsibility to pick up on those signs and act on them confidently. signs would be... eye contact, smiling, touching... stuff like that... but u have to make sure that she's not just one of them overly friendly girls, *ahem.. i won't mention any names. haha... he also said that for nice guys (me)... that they put their girls up on a pedestal and the girl basically loses respect for them. and nice guys need to be confident when approaching a girl... the author was saying how nice guys need to find what they're good at, and then go do it. that way, they can hold their head higher. now, from a biblical viewpoint... i agree with this. we shouldn't find our identity in the things we do, but we should be good stewards of the talents that God has blessed us with. so i need more confidence when i approach girls that i think like me (and when i like them back)... but wait... doesn't this all fall into Scott Song's article about not thinking a girl likes you until she says it? haha... whatevers.. i dunno.
