what were u expecting?

*sigh*... Praise God for answering prayers, no matter what form it comes in. In this case, it's a closed door. I was right about a previous post, saying that i'd feel dissapointed if i didn't get hired w/santa clara pd. well, i trust God that this wasn't what he wanted me to pursue, that this wasn't in His plan for me.

if ur wondering why i didn't get hired... i won't divulge too much info... but basically, it's due to a friend that i have and that friend uses drugs. so yea.. that's basically it. the background officer said that i should definitely apply to other agencies, but i dunno... i think this is it for me.

hmm... so will i dissapoint those who know about this whole cop thing? maybe, maybe not. u know... i shouldn't care too much. there are so many ppl who have changes in their lives. things don't always turn out the way they expect... largely b/c God is not a vending machine.

*sigh*.. again.. yes... my mom just called.. for the 3rd time.. this time she said not to hang out w/those friends. i think that from now on... i will hang out w/that friend but will not be in the presence of the drug use when it occurs. oh yea... a lesson for those that don't know... let's say ur at ur friend's place... and he/she is smoking/injecting _________ (fill in the substance)... well if the cops happen to come by (maybe due to a noise complaint made by ur neighbor)... and they find that one person is using the drug... then they can take everyone in the house to jail. it's called something like 'community possession'.
