what were u expecting?

so i had a very chill weekend. after finishing up my physical test on saturday afternoon... i honestly wanted to celebrate that night, but where the heck did everyone go? i just ended up going to dinner w/my dad, which was cool, b/c we got to spend time together.. but that's about it. we had some interesting conversations... well... my dad and i usually only have conversations when talking about business and financials. but this topic was on girls. haha... it's so funny, b/c he has the mindset of a stereotypical white man in our society today.

Dad(D): you're not going out tonight?
Me(M): no... all my friends went skiing or they're out of town.. or sleeping.. i dunno... i need a girlfriend
D: so why don't u get one?
M: uhh... it's not that easy dad
D: how about that one girl that came out to dinner with your aunt?
M: i think she's older.. like 26 maybe? and she just came from korea.
D: so you don't want a korean girl?
M: i want a korean american girl
D: You don't want your girl to be submissive and respect you?
M: What?! haha.. dad... she doesn't have to be korean to respect me.. and i don't want her to be too submissive

Sunday... i was really looking forward to church. it wasn't exactly b/c i was going to worship God... shame on me, yes. it's b/c i knew i was going to see this girl. So she's been helping out with teaching for the past month, b/c most of the teachers left on break. So now we have 3 ppl teaching 30kids instead of just two. anyways... i found out that she's in her 1st yr of pharmacy school (she got her BA already)... so she's around my age. on a scale of 1-10, 5 being the average.. and u know i'm very strict on this scale. based on looks alone... i would have to give her a 6.5. although i don't know her well.. it seems like she's a very cool, down to earth girl, w/a good sense of style, that's awesome w/the kids too... so after we were done teaching... i went down, and found out a lot of the yag'ers were goin to lunch... so i asked her to come out too... well.. she turned down the offer b/c she was going to visit her sis. oh well. and yesterday was the last day she was going to help teach. *sigh*... oh well.
