what were u expecting?

So i finally got a mouth guard yesterday, b/c i grind my teeth while sleeping. it's not the $400 custom made guard... it was the $1.99 guard that u use in sports. haha.. but it worked fine.

I'm taking off at noon today b/c there's this lecture at cal for "Career Week". the lecture i'm going to is on "careers in counseling and psychology". my coworker just told me that it seemed to her that i'm trying to find my identity in work. i'm confused and kinda shocked. i know that my identity is in Christ, but from her perspective (she's at least a nominal christian in my view), i guess it seems that my actions speak differently. hmm... this really caught me off guard. i told her that i know who i am and that i just want to enjoy the work that i do... i dunno... something to chew on i guess.

Moving on... ALIAS is the freakin bomb. i'm hooked. THANKS FOR LETTING ME BORROW IT PIA! AND DO WELL AT COLLEGIATES. Random? Yes... but check out that show if u haven't already.

Some restaurants ppl should check out... yo chris.. u might like this list:

Chinese:Koi Palace, Daly City. Very good food. Decent prices. Loud atmosphere... c'mon, it's chinese ppl, what do u expect? haha.. jk. Recommended for banquets or large parties.

Mexican: La Pinata, Alameda & San Leandro. Wow. the best mexican food ever. wanna try a high quality burrito that u can't even finish b/c it's so damn big? and the fajita plates... oh my... huge portions and it's soo good.

Jajjang Myun:Hyang Won, Oakland. This is definitely one of those hole in the wall places. what's weird is that they use green noodles. yea green! but it's good. the best in the bay... you'll agree with me.

Tapas: Zarzuela or ChaChaCha, SF. Depends on what you want. both have high quality/flavor foods... Zarzuela is more of an upscale place with more of a french theme. the setting is very quaint. the sangria is awesome here. ChaChaCha is loud, bustling and fun. feels like ur in a latin club or something. their food seems to be more down to earth... or more for the common man, with slightly bigger portions. Sangria here is not as good in my opinion (too much cinnamon). can't go wrong w/either.
