The weekend was a complete blur

Friday: After work i had dinner w/slum then went to FICB for Good Friday Svc. Man... i really missed having that time of worship and just being apart of a body that i'm close too (or familiar with). Afterwards, chilled at Ghetto Square and saw generations upon generations of fic'ers. did i feel old? eh... there were some older ppl there. haha... it was definitely good seeing faces that i haven't seen since my departure from kcpc... and even the little kids still remembered me!

Saturday: Went to Ronald McDonald House to volunteer. So this org was made for out of town families that come to specialty hospitals for their kids. a huge group of us made breakfast for the families that were staying there. man.. i'm so freakin anal when it comes to cooking. i love doing things MY WAY in the kitchen. For instance... an ajuma started pouring milk into the beaten eggs (for scrambled eggs).. and i cringed. "Nooo"... i didn't say anything tho... just being in the kitchen again reminded me of how much i love cooking... and that maybe God meant for me to work in a kitchen. i really thought about culinary school again. i even went online looking at schools in the bay area. *sigh*. i just caught myself trying to figure out the timing of everything.. when i would take my gre's, when i would apply for grad school, when i would go to culinary school... i say that i have hope in my life b/c of Christ and b/c of His plans for me... but i don't exactly live it... hmm.. anyways... so for the rest of saturday, i chilled at isabel's place and studied there. Thanks izzy!

Sunday: I didn't have to prepare a lesson for my kids b/c the sahmohnim said the kids were gonna make easter eggs... ok... how do easter eggs replace bible study? one thing i love about my church is the food. yea... at kcpc u get hot dogs/sandwiches and on a really good day you'll get bibimbap... but at our place... on a normal day we'll get gook... on a special day... dude... catered food. it's crazy. perks of a small church. so afterwards, i went to LivingWater w/Sophia. it felt good to be there. praise was different b/c the leader had sooo much enthusiasm. he was very... charismatic (compared to the style of worship that i'm used to it was)... but it's not like ppl were dancing in the aisles or anything... but the praise was awesome. message was good too. but it's all college ppl. which is a huge deterrant for me. i dunno.. i haven't forgotten what u told me mike! but i think i'm gonna go back to Wellspring and stick it out there. we'll see.

so i went over to Sophia's after church.. and she turned on the 1st episode of ALIAS... dude... that one episode got me freakin hooked. i was like... jennifer garner ain't all that.. so much hype... but whocares. the storyline is so good. the action is pretty decent for a tv show... can't complain. then i got some good studying done. sung and i ordered pizza, cheesy stix, and buffalo wings too! ooohh.. so good... heart clogger tho. i need to go running today. man... wash my car... or run. dilemma. anyways.. so after studying.. i borrowed the complete season one for ALIAS and watched 4 more episodes last night at home. i woke up freakin tired this morning.. but i didn't regret it one bit. haha...
