what were u expecting?

there's this girl i knew in college. she was always cool, super funny, very cute, had a great smile, nice hair, danced like crazy, was a believer, AND... always had the same bf until our senior year. too bad we weren't good friends. just today she sent me a friendster invite, but again... too bad she's all the way on the east coast for grad school.

the thing i remember most is our last conversation. senior year, on telegraph/bancroft, in front of the mlk building... we just ran into eachother... kinda caught up then and there... i felt like there was something there. chemistry? lust? i dunno what it was, but i never thought about it again. ended the coversation with a nice hug... and that was that. what's funny is that i never thought of her as a potential until that day. besides the fact that she had a bf in the past... she was too... energetic, outgoing, and goofy for me. but that last day was different. she was more sincere, not as goofy, etc. oh yea... and she was skinnier. haha... =P but that's besides the point. she'll always be a potential... although realistically we'll never meet again.

anyways.. just had to share that little bit of nostalgia with my secret community here. thanks again for reading... and by the way... i love it when ppl comment. thank u thank u thank u.
