what were u expecting?

it's been a while since my last update. i'm pretty tired, so i won't go into much detail... but i went to LA last wed-sat to visit my sis and some friends. i found out that my sis got engaged two weeks prior... and the sad thing is that my sis told me that she knows she's settling, but everyone settles. the romantic in me disagrees with her statement... and as much as i want to be happy for my sis who very much seems to be happy... i just can't be. anyways... their projected wedding date is 9/05... so there's still a lot of time.

i started my new job today. i actually got worked pretty hard today. my boss is friggin awesome. wants me to take breaks whenever... talk to co-workers even if it's not productive... and she's really flexible about my hours. so much different than what i'm used to. the ppl are awesome... and the commute isn't too bad at all. i'm gonna start working 8:30am - 5:30pm.. so we'll see how that works. and for all those that wanted travel discounts... i don't think i can actually get those discounts until 6months from now... so ya gotta be patient. sorry about that.

one random note... i'm getting darker. =) i used to be really dark as a kid... my grandma would call me "kkam-deng-ee" or black person.. i missed my darkness.. haha.. but with all the fluorescent lighting.. i don't think i'll achieve what i used to have.
