what were u expecting?

i've realized that i'm not as good a listener as i thought i was. i used to thing that ppl came to me b/c i was good at listening... so what's changed? nothing really.. except that the real reason why ppl come and talk to me is because they need an outlet. the two times it happened, once yesterday and once today (diff ppl)... i could care less about what they were talking about... they seriously talked my ear off.. and i was thinking to myself... dude.. i don't have time for this.. don't worry ppl.. i'm not like this to friends.. just to strangers. well.. some friends... anyways... this is definitely one piece of evidence that points me away from counseling.

it's just hard to love ppl.. regardless of their similar beliefs or whatevers.
