the wknd flew by yet again...
Friday: i originally planned on watching naruto all of friday night and saturday.. but those plans fell thru. so i ended up going to Butterfly. it's a restaurant turned club at night.. and i went b/c my two other cousins were going.. and another one of my friend's got me in for free. free is always nice. so i was good.. i only had one drink.. and that was good enough for me. i left early b/c i got kinda bored...
Saturday: early afternoon i went to gap in berkeley and to some stores at bay street. i rarely ever shop for myself... but i needed some new khakis. so i ended up getting some pretty nice khakis on sale at banana.. and some cargos from old navy. i just had to replace some older pants. but i like having the diverse wardrobe. =P
by the way.. that boba place at bay street is nasty. don't ever get the mango boba.. it has a funky flower'ish taste. yes flower... not flour. maybe it was a pollen taste...
went to tommy, ahan, and soon to be basile's place... chilled there from 4-11:30pm. what's we do? played some hold'em baby. we actually only got in 2 games... can u believe that? both games were pretty grueling... lasting approx 3hrs each. i won the first game... so i got to eat dinner for free (pizza)... and i was the first one out in the 2nd game... lost $2. u know... we're high rollers!
ahh yes.. so during the 2nd game.. we had the tv on in the background... tnt was playing Ocean's 11. an awesome movie.. (i was about to write awesome tawsome, lisa... sick) haha... anyways... so i finally admit that i look like the amazing yen. remember him? he's the chinese acrobat guy that can't speak english. so ppl have been telling me this ever since the movie came out like... 3-4yrs ago. and i denied every accusation... but watching it last night... dang... in certain angles... okay fine... in most angles... we do look alike. there... u happy now?!
Sunday: so next week is the big week. my home church will be merging w/the other church. they're located by 3-com/candlestick park. what sucks is that service will start at 11am. kcpc em service starts at 11:30am... i defintely can't make that... we'll see what happens.
after church... went to berkeley and played some softball. i hit like crap today. i was pulling everything to the right... i think it's b/c i'm using my golf form.. but fielding was much better today... got some practice on playing outfield. got a little darker... speaking of darker... i'm starting to get bags under my eyes... i normally sleep 7-9hrs... and i don't think there's really any stress in my life... so what's up? is this what normally happens when u hit 24? i'll have to look this up on webmd. the bags part.. not the age part.
and finally... i think i'm gonna look into starting pilates. gotta put that $50 worth of free work money towards something...this might be it.
