what were u expecting?

hola ppls... it's been a while. i used to really really want to share my day w/all ya'll... but now... it's whatevers.

anyways... we had a church christmas dinner. i made the appetizer, pasta, and salad... came out pretty well... but we played white elephant with a twist. instead of just taking the gift... u would have to do a punishment after taking a gift... the types of punishments we had? here's a sample:

-blow snot into ur hand and lick it
-gargle a raw egg for 15sec
-do the robot every time the moderator tells u to
-go outside and yell, "DOOKIE! Please come out, pretty please" (while squatting)

hehe.. good stuff.

random thoughts:

- it doesn't feel like christmas.. i'm not a festive person
- it's harder to get a gift for a good friend than an acquaintance. if u want a present from me... lemme know what u want.. and we'll see if i get u anything. =P
- optometrist tomorrow... dentist thursday
- my neighbor and i were talking and got onto the subject of religion.. he invited me out to his "temple"... supposedly it's very new age.
- i'm getting gifts from the partners i work with... it's dope. got a basket of food.. some cards.. and an alarm-clock/radio w/mood lighting thing from google.

i hope everyone has a safe/fun christmas. try not to get caught up in the consumerism... every winter, a person that lives in the castro valley hills always puts a sign up so that cars from the freeway can see it... it reads, "JESUS IS THE REASON FOR THE SEASON."
