our database is down... so a bunch of us are just chillin... some thoughts:
- hawaii: i think i'm ok w/going by myself. it's no biggie... i'll still have fun. i just wanna get away to somewhere tropical.
- car: anyone ever change their brake pads? i ordered some online, and i'm debating whether to try swapping them with paul or if i should go to a mechanic.
- purpose driven life: read day 22 today. what did i learn... hmm... what was it? oh yea.. this wasn't the main point.. but this is what i took... being faithful doesn't mean sitting around waiting for a sign from God and acting on it.. it's excercising that faith even though we're weak and unsure. example: i'm not good w/my bible stories and names... but peter jumping out of the boat for christ and jacob crossing the jordan? or red sea? nothing happened until they committed themselves.
- superbowl: having a bbq at church and watching the game on a projection screen. hopefully we'll get good reception.
- boarding: going to heavenly this wknd and i might have to drive. *sigh*.. my car has surpassed 35,000mi... but it's slowly but surely becoming less of an idol.
- church: i started leading praise in the EM last week... it went alrite. i definitely have a long way to go.. but hopefully ppl will realize that it's not a concert and we're there to praise God.
- weather: the weather the past two days have been great... well.. from what i can tell from my cubicle. haha.. i miss the good ol days of flag football w/sf kcpc yagers.
- tkd: why oh why does it always draw me back? i'm going to berkeley on monday nights starting next week to be the asst. coach for the competition team this yr. should be fun.
