what were u expecting?

my parents were in an accident on 880s yesterday. they were in the fast lane.. and there were two accidents ahead of my dad. he slowed down.. and the car behind rear ended him at about 50-60mph... pushed his car and took a slight hit to the car in front and pushed his car off to the right into the next lane... nobody else hit him. the car that hit my dad (astro van) then ended up plowing into the cars that were originally in front of my dad.

my mom went to the ER.. she was pretty shaken up.. she seems to have minor injuries.. i dunno if anything is severe yet.. my dad seems ok, but will get a checkup today.... and my baby is totalled. the back end was crushed all the way to the rear tire.. rear roofline is messed up.. window blown out... yea... my guitar, poker chips, my damn backpack even broke... and some of my mom's stuff too... i went to the yard to salvage whatever i could this morning.. and i basically couldn't get anythign out of the trunk... pulled all my cd's and everything else from the inside... but yea.. the guy said it has to be a total loss b/c even the roofline was messed up.. the only way to fix it would be to cut the car in half and replace the back.. which would be way too expensive.

please pray for my parents... i truly thank God that they're ok.. but i'm afraid for any other probs that'll come from the accident.
